About SHROPSHIRE BLUES
The “Shropshire Blues” branch of the Birmingham City Official Supporters Club was established on 28th February 2024.
The purpose of setting up this branch was to both establish and promote a group for like-minded Bluenoses to join, actively communicating and participating in Blues-related activities and events.
The idea behind this would be to ultimately encourage and help all of us to come together and achieve the following:
IMPROVE MATCH DAY ATTENDANCES
Facilitate better ways for us to improve our attendances at Blues matches. This might include having members attending more matches by having access to car-shares or other methods of group travel such as coach/minibus hire.
FACILITATE SUPPORTER FEEDBACK
Provide feedback to BCFC about matchday experiences that both highlight areas with room for improvement and also give thanks and praise for the facilities that work well and contribute greatly to the fan experience.
SUPPORT FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES
Assist in fundraising activities and also find innovative ways to raise money through events arranged by the local branch.

FACILITATE SUPPORTER COMMUNICATION
To regularly communicate with each other in the branch predominantly through social media. Currently, the Shropshire Blues OSC has a presence on Facebook, X, and Instagram as well as WhatsApp. For anybody that does not want to use social media, we would also be happy to provide information via email.
ARRANGE SOCIAL EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES
Participate socially with others in the group and arrange social events.
GOALS AND PRINCIPLES
To establish one Official Supporter’s Club (OSC) as the official network of Supporters Club Branches across the globe.
To increase support for all of the Birmingham City teams; (home and away; Men’s, Women’s and the Academy) and reward fans for their engagement.
To travel together, watch together, socialise together.
To increase mutual understanding between the Club and the fans through strengthened communication, dialogue and information cascade.
To fundraise in support of the Birmingham City Foundation.
To be an inclusive and respectful organisation that enhances the Club’s reputation.
The OSC is independent organisation that will be run by fans for the fans. It is not part of the Club, but is the only Supporter Group that the Club will recognise and collaborate with on a regular basis.

MEMBERSHIP FEES
Adults (16 to 64): £10 per season
Seniors (65 and over): £8 per season
Juniors (Under 16’s): FREE
Below is a breakdown of where your membership per season goes:
£5 sent to OSC HQ
£2 retained by OSC HQ to cover administration costs (e.g. event organisation, competition prize etc)
£3 sent by OSC HQ to BCFC Foundation charity
£5 retained by Shropshire Blues OSC to cover administration costs (e.g. function room bookings for events, travel bookings, website and email administration costs)
As the OSC is a voluntary organisation all Branches must be self-supporting.
All Branch members will also automatically become a member of the OSC.
