This summer saw the rebuild of Birmingham City get into full swing with a trip to Austria followed by several locally-based friendly matches against, Solihull Moors, Shrewsbury Town, Walsall and West Bromwich Albion, as well as the Trevor Francis Memorial match against Rangers.
