The “Shropshire Blues” branch of the Birmingham City Official Supporters Club was established on 28th February 2024. The purpose of setting up this branch was to both establish and promote a group for like-minded Bluenoses to join, actively communicating and participating in Blues-related activities and events. The idea behind this would be to ultimately encourage and help all of us to come together and achieve the following:

1. Facilitate better ways for us to improve our attendances at Blues matches. This might include having members attending more matches by having access to car-shares or other methods of group travel such as coach/minibus hire.
2. Provide feedback to BCFC about matchday experiences that both highlight areas with room for improvement and also give thanks and praise for the facilities that work well and contribute greatly to the fan experience.
3. Assist in fundraising activities and also find innovative ways to raise money through events arranged by the local branch.
4. To regularly communicate with each other in the branch predominantly through social media. Currently, the Shropshire Blues OSC has a presence on Facebook, X, and Instagram as well as WhatsApp. For anybody that does not want to use social media, we would also be happy to provide information via email.
5. Participate socially with others in the group and arrange social events.

All of the above shall not be mutually exclusive, and we hope to find all kinds of ways that shall help improve our enjoyment of our beloved Blues.
